Coldplay recently completed the India segment of their Music of the Spheres World Tour with a spectacular show in Ahmedabad on Republic Day. Following their final performance in the country, frontman Chris Martin and his partner, actress Dakota Johnson, made their way to the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj.
A new video has emerged showing the couple taking a dip in the holy waters. Shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), the footage shows Chris and Dakota participating in the sacred ritual at Triveni Sangam during the Maha Kumbh Mela.
Chris kept his look relaxed, sporting black shorts, while Dakota opted for a traditional outfit to blend in with the cultural setting. At one point, Chris was seen folding his hands in prayer.
On January 27, Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson arrived in Prayagraj. In a video shared by a news agency on X, the couple were spotted in a car. Chris was playfully making faces for the camera, while Dakota, looking a bit shy, covered her head as she prepared to step out.
Chris Martin, co-founder of Coldplay, made waves at the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh Mela 2025. Coldplay had already sent the crowd into a frenzy with their high-energy performances at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26.
On the final day of their tour, Chris Martin charmed the audience once again by wishing, "Happy Republic Day, India!" He also delivered his version of Vande Mataram, which was met with raucous applause from the crowd.
