Rapper Travis Scott, born Jacques Bermon Webster, was detained early Thursday morning and placed in the Miami-Dade County jail following an altercation on a yacht at a marina located at 300 Alton Road, Miami Beach.

Scott, who hails from Houston, faced charges of disorderly intoxication and trespassing, as detailed in an arrest affidavit from the Miami Beach Police Department, which The Hollywood Reporter obtained. The affidavit notes that the arrest occurred at 1:44 a.m.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers detected a strong odor of alcohol on Scott's breath. The complainant indicated that they did not wish to press charges but wanted Scott removed from the yacht, the affidavit noted.

Scott was reportedly warned to leave the dock but responded by "yelling obscenities" while walking backwards from the yacht before entering his car to depart, according to the police report.

The affidavit continues, stating that "approximately five minutes later, Officer Rodriguez observed Scott returning towards the vessel." Once again, Scott began shouting, acting erratically, and disturbing the peace of marina occupants and nearby residents, leading to his arrest.

Scott later admitted to consuming alcohol, reportedly stating, "It's Miami," according to the affidavit. He was booked at 4:35 a.m. and released on a $650 bond.

Bradford Cohen, Scott's attorney, issued a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, asserting, "Mr. Scott was detained due to a misunderstanding. There was no physical altercation, and we appreciate the authorities' cooperation in reaching a swift and amicable resolution."

In a related development, Scott launched a t-shirt on his merchandise site featuring his arrest mugshot with the phrase "It's Miami" beneath it. The "Free the Rage Tee" is priced at $35, with $5 from each sale benefiting the Cactus Jack Foundation, a non-profit organization supported by Scott.

Scott previously made headlines in 2021 due to the Astroworld concert tragedy, which resulted in the deaths of ten attendees and numerous injuries.
